In creating this bouquet I used over 15 simple ivory flowers to create a bed of flowers for the vibrant and lush red and orange flowers to pop out of. Each flower clips in and out, making it possible for the bride to re-wear her wedding flowers through out the year. I just listed this little lady in my etsy shop, - snag her, or design your own using your own wedding colors and adorning the flowers with pearls, rhinestones, or crystals!
I hope you like this bouquet as much as I enjoyed creating her!
The past couple of days I have been creating bouquets to use within my portfolio, and my shop. All of the bouquets are for sale, but they are primarily meant to give my Brides inspiration for creating their own bouquets. In this bouquet I created over 25 flowers, each one of the flowers was hand cut from fabric using my original flower patterns, stitched, and then pressed using millinery irons. I love the way each individual flower accents one another through their color and their shape.
Custom Bouquets | Our bouquet flowers clip in and out, making it easy for the bride to wear her bridal bouquet flowers many times after the wedding!
This past spring my cousin Sarah got engaged and she asked me to be one of her bridesmaid as well as make the accessories. She asked me to create her a bouquet, I gave it a go, and I LOVED making her bouquet, I will share her bridal accessories when I get the professional photographs in.
Since coming home from her wedding in Nebraska, I have created a couple more bouquets, to perfect my technique and to try out new styles. This lush plum, iridescent purple, magenta, and ivory bouquet was created using twenty handmade flowers.
When I was working on my cousin Sarah's bouquet I wanted to make a bouquet design where the flowers could be clipped in and out, so she could wear her bouquet flowers through out the year. My cousin LOVES flowers and she is a big supporter of my work, so I had to make sure she could wear one all of her flowers. I picture her keeping the bouquet on her vanity and choosing a different flower each day.
I really enjoyed working on this bouquet, and if you are interested in creating your custom bridal accessories collection, visit my shop, or contact me directly!
I look forward to hearing from you!
